Crayons in the Sky!

Extraordinary moments in nature at the end of a day reconfirm God’s splendor; and sunsets like this that paint the sky like a box of crayons, remind us that God is shining through offering his gory and guiding hand in the midst of all storms! To YOU my dear ones, I send more LOVE, more LIGHT, and more PRAYERS❤️ May GOD wrap his arms around you and give you some peace!

1728 Hours

And in the blink of an eye, the sunny days of frolicking by the pool, muggy morning jaunts with your favorite furry friend, hot summer nights on the porch with a cold beverage in hand rambling about life with friends, and weekend adventures begin to dissipate, and soon summer will be but a distant memory.

I think I accomplished most everything on my summer bucket list…and Yes, I did dance in the rain and finally jumped off the high dive (thank you for the encouragement Lexi Moore), ate blue crabs, went sailing…and the list goes on and on…but most importantly I fell in love with life all over again. ❤️

I realized while completing my bucket this list summer that it wasn’t the things on the list that mattered, it was the people with whom I checked off my list…my parents, my brother, niece, nephew, and my friends aka, my tribe! ❤️

We shared love and laughter, yes there was sometimes discourse and sharing of truths, and it wasn’t all “rainbows and happiness” but it was real, live, truthful honest living. There was love and forgiveness and support of one another; a new found respect between friends, vulnerability and truth within our tribe. ❤️

I’m just wondering how you choose to use those 1728 hours of summer?

Did you challenge yourself to take an extra step when you didn’t think you could you go any further? Did you take grand adventures? Did you love hard, laugh much, spend time with friends and family? Did you forgive a friend? Did you take time for self care? Did you help someone in need, or try to at least look at their situation from a different perspective? How about taking the time to see the deeper than the surface and look at the beauty in someone’s heart, maybe take a chance on something new and different and possibly step into the unknown? What about laughter… I laughed so much this summer sometimes it hurt! Did you cry? Yeah me too, life isn’t always fair. But in the end, we look back and see the lessons that we were taught, trusting that everything in life unfolds according to a plan that was created by something much bigger than we are.

I hope you put your 1728 hours to good use, as they will never be returned to you. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, today is all we have…chose to live it wisely. ❤️

Love and light ❤️
